Front Mount

Ahh, I push my engine to the limits brother. :D I just dont pop it. :D I, unlike many onthis forum, cannot afford to drop 5k on a rebuilt motor, nor will my mom or dad buy me a new one.

Yes, I have held the S pipe in my hands, this past weekend as a matter of fact. No, I have not had mine of my car, but a basic knowledge of flow characteristics, and just LOOKI(NG at the damn thing tells me that it creates MAD turbulance for the exhaust, and the severity of the bends slows flow down quite much. :D

I, myelf, am caustious when building my CARS I like to do mine right the first time, and not have to spend extra money. You can relate yourself to a "race car driver" all you want. The point is simple, you bolted on some mods, cranked the boost, tried running iwth supras, and crapped the motor.

I ran 9 psi daily, before I sold my Boost controller, and knew what gears that was safe in, what it was not, when I had more then me in the car, to adjust my boost levels to compensate for the added weight. ECT ECT.

I learn from people on this forum, and take that knowledge, apply it to my work, and improve on it.

Again, please refrain from trying to compare yourself from someone like Mario Andretti or Ligenfelter, as your a guy with a Mazdaspeed Protege, just like me, not some super tuner, with a 1000 WHP supra, lookin to hit 200 mph at the salt flats.

You seem to have major issues. The battle royal that you are waging IMO is really dumb. Big deal, you haven't popped your motor, good for you. In your post you said that you sold your MBC and went stock again. That isn't really backing up your credibility as being a person who understands tuning. No offence, it sounds like you chickened out. You make fun of people having their mothers replace their motors. That was really funny. I wish my mom would have bought me a ton of s***, but she did not. Some people's parents are rich some aren't. That's hardly a mature way to reply to anyone.

Sorry man, whatever. Later

Craig, you know you are my boy but i have to dis-agree with you on this. The S-pipe off of the turbo is NOT very restrictive.I will SHOW you the flow numbers if you like.No one but Craig ask for these numbers as I WILL NOT POST THEM!

I dont undertsand why you couldnt show the rest of the forum the flow numbers

yeah no s***. Is this like something "special" that no one else must know or do you just not like to share?

it is also one thing to say the s-pipe can cause flow to slow down or create turbulence and another to say it is a major restriction......u will not get a better desing unless u

A: move the turbo to a new location so the dp can come off at a better angle to the rest of the exhaust

B: move the stock cats/dp setup so it can accept a elbow piece off the turbo at a angle or other effecting radius.....

unless u total redesign the dp setup or the exhaust manifold to move the turbo...ur stuck with it...nothing will help the flow any better then the stock s-pipe.....no room to increase the diameter....cant make a wider radius on the bends ......

Brian, first, I have not chickened out on building my car, or boosting it more. I have things in the works, that many of you could only dream about doing. (wow Boostisgood's arrogance is comingthourhg again):D Im sure you all will read about it in the near future. Enough said on that note.

Second, Yes, to get the best flow possible, exhaust wise, is to relocate, or at least build a spacer for the turbo. ;)

I dont talk much about what I do with my car, or what I will do, because I like to keep my car as unique as possible.

If you all think that I give misinformation, or what I say goes against what you think is ok, thats fine. I will not argue this point anymore, as honestly, it is a waste of my time and effort.

Insidious, I apologize for calling you out bro, i meant no harm, and I look forward to Shooting the s*** with on on AIM. :D

I have a very open mind but you really are some kind of dick man. Things that I could only dream about, who do you think you are some kind of Corkey Bell? Whatever you have in the works is probably wonderful but you are as you so eloquently said just another MSP owner. Sounds like you are the one dreaming buddy. Do us all a favour and trade in your car for a Honda so you can fill their board with a ton of dung.

im not in your conversation with brian but cant that quote go to either of you ?!?! better yet...whats the point of posting that????

Guys...stop flaming eachother or this thread is going to be gone. Can't we all just get along:D.

before i totaled my MSP..i was gonna buy a front mount core and have a local race shop do all of my piping and what not.....for me, pricewise, it was gonna be alot cheaper for them to make the pipes and also install it on my car. Just a thought...
