Front Grill

I saw a picture of that mp3 with the hood scoop and that grill looks sweet. i know people where mention they nought that one off ebay. i check it out and i like it but i remember people saying you could go to home depot and make on for cheap. did any one do this?? what would you use?? or should i just buy the one of ebay.

Whatever you do-- DO NOT BUY THE GRILL FROM AT GRILLS, AS IT SUCKS...Ok,so I put it on yesterday...it happened to rain last night...this morning...rusted. I haven't looked at it too long to find all the places, but lets just say in a quick overview it was very obvious...

well, a couple hours of my day and 70 bucks later, you could say I'm a little pissed...
It did look really good once it was on though.

If you just buy the Home Depot or Lowes stuff it's galvanized and it won't rust. You could also paint it if you want. But I want one of those billet grills. I guess I'm going to have to buy a big truck one and cut it down to size.

wow mp3 that looks really good but way to much money 450$ damn id rather spend it on performance parts. i like the look of the AT but everyone says it rust. that one u have listed id really hot but i could never afford that. if anyone knows of cheaper grills post them.

I definately don't want to pay that much for a billet grill. They normally don't cost that much. Normally they are around $250 for both pieces. I emailed the company that made it for him. The company is on his front bumper. Precision Design. Maybe they will make some and sell them cheaper. I'm definately going to wait for another company like SteelHorse or Stull to make one. They will sell for much cheaper. His does look good though.

Precision design doesn't sell them. I'm pretty sure they are from another vehicle and he just moded it to fit ours. Hence the outragous price. But it is the only one of it's kind right now. He's got the market cornered. Give it time though, there will be more and I can wait till there is one for a cheaper price.
