Fog lamp wiring??

:
2002 Mazda Protege5
Watched the noob video, used the search bar, couldn't find what I was looking for. So here goes. Bought my P5 Thursday. I spent hours going through the vehicle and checking everything out. Tried turning the fog lamps on, jacked the car up, got under there, and the fog lamp plugs are hanging from the lamps. I have looked everywhere under the vehicle to try and figure out where they plug into and I can't find where. Any ideas, or should I attempt to wire them to the parking lights or just run wires to the switch. Pretty much stumped here.

There should be a plug that shouldn't be too far from the fogs to where the fogs plug into. I'd say keep looking? As im not sure really where else that other end could be.

Ended up just wiring them to the side marker lights. I guess whoever owned the car before me, must of cut off the wire harness for the fog lamps.

The 2003 has side marker lights but the 2002 doesn't.

A lot of people do lighting changes (HID,.. dual or single headlamp,.. fogs always on,... DRL (Canada daytime running lights)) that aren't listed in the P5 wiring diagrams so there can be a lot of confusion.

That's what I thought also. Maybe the previous owner put an 03 front bumper on it. Then again that would not explain why there is the side marker harness plug on each side of the vehicle.
