Finally BOOSTED!!!

How many of the kits are on mp3s? Let's establish that there really is a difference. To get your throttle stop back to stock, it'll be a little interesting, as there is no info in the factory manuals, because it's never supposed to be touched :-( I think your best bet will be to back the stop screw off enough to let the plate completely close, then turn the screw in just far enough to preload it a bit. I know it's vague, the idea is just to keep the plate from binding in the bore. As far as the octane boost, don't know what to tell you. One concern is that boosters often tend to foul plugs, FWIW.

It can be a leak anywhere the turbo and the intake. I had this problem on the first week and one of my clamp was loose on the IC.

1st MP3 in NH, I realy not recomand to put the MAF after the turbo. It will be to much air presure and the ECU will freak out. You can also damage your MAF

So far to my knowledge there is a BEGI kit on an MP3 in New Hampshire, Conneticutt, North Carolina, Arizona, one in Alabama that doesn't use the BEGI but is turboed and showing the same signs, one is in Texas that will soon beusing the kit. I recall another one being in Texas but I can't be sure. Of coarse these are only of memebers of this board. All 3 of the aboved mentioned MP3s have had the exact same idle response to the kit. The fourth I don't know about.

So 5 kits to my knowledge using the BEGI kit.

1st you can't put the MAF after the turbo cuz when its boosting enough the sensor will bottom out... and who knows how our lovely ECU will react then...I've heard MAF's that aren't designed for boost act really poorly when put in that position (sad2)

Yeah I had that problem too... FM is working on the cure

So smp the ripped pipe was the only problem? You still have to MAF before the turbo, correct? If it's after I'm dying to know how you got it working
