(hear ya) What is your favorite bass song to listen to in your car?

By bass song, i mean a song with a lot of low frequency in it that sounds good on a subwoofer.

Doesn't matter what genre of music, Metal (headbang), rap(bling), techno(dance), or otherwise, as long as it has a lot of bass in it.

(Please excuse the excessive and unfitting smilies; honestly there should be a better smily for rap music, i guess bling is a rap word sort of, so thats the best i could do.)

I'm with Micah. Bass Mekanix will make whales beach themselves.

Man I try to stay away from the beached whales (if you konw what I mean.. I thank you) hehe j/k

Yeah those have alot of bass.. bass is easy to test. alot of songs and cds test that. HIghs are not as easy to test.

bass mekanix is great, but you can tell the songs are geared just for the bass. lil john has some serious bass on his songs. i usually tune with pantera, cause some of their songs have some sick bass, and a great range of everything else;)

guess it's ok if i respond to my own question :D

Hip Hop by Dead Prez

it has this low low sound in the background that sounds kinda like feedback except in harmony with the music. you can't really hear it on an average stereo, but with a good sub, it's wicked

I think that song by Trillville called Neva Eva might ahve good bass, but i havent heard it in a system yet.

I may date myself by saying this, but my favorite bass song is Planet Z by The B-52s. It's got a cool wandering bass track and hits pretty hard.

I am always up for some Chemical Brothers and Crystal Method when I need some bass. I wish I could remember the song title, it is off the Surrender album by Chemical Brothers, like track two or three. But it sounds like a damn air plane flies through your car. I can't wait to try it out with my new system with a ported box.

Madonna Justify My Love. I watched a yellow Blazer (talking years ago) hit 152 (World record back in the 1990's) with that song. :D I use it to tune, and test my systems now. Such a great song to bump to.

Tu Pac Violent. Damn, this song has an un explainable low end vvvnnnt vvnnt vvnnt vnnnnt vnnnnnnt. Almost like Paul REvere from the Beastie boys.

Find it on KAzza and listen to it. MAN, I cant believe I forgot about this song, and was just pumpin it tonite. :D
