I just added a Flowmaster series 40 muffler to my 3, and eliminated the resonator. The car seemed to jerk alot when shifting and after this mod it shifts smooth as silk, and sounds really good. (headbang)

Spin-Tech, Dynomax, Hooker, Random-Tech and Borla are pretty good brands...though the last two are expensive and hooker's can be ghettoish.

What's wrong with that. Just because it may not be chrome, may not have a 6 inch hole or make your car sound like a pissed off weed-eater doesn't necessarily make it a bad thing.

Thank you there is nothing wrong with it. It sounds great, nothing like one of those fart pipes as I call them. It has a rich, deep tone. The addition of the new muffler improved my gas mileage by 2mph.
