I didn't like how Mace Windu could bring down the emperor, but yoda, an even greater jedi, got beat. And also, anakin turned to darth way to quick. Once he finds out the emperor is a sith he's like "i have to turn you in" and runs and gets windu, and 2 secs later he's like "ok, i'll do whatever you want". I was kind of hoping there'd be more manipulation there and more depth into the dark side transition. And padme just losing her will to live crap was kind of lame.

All in all tho, I think it was definitely way better than episodes 1 and 2 and more on par with the original trilogy.

I got the impression that Palpatine was allowing Mace to overcome him so that Anakin would make the decision to join him / turn from the Jedi. Maybe I'm reading too much into it. I know - maybe I should go see it again. (cool)

I have a complaint. I've been a fan of the series but I noticed a gap. If the reason for Anakin to join the dark side was save Padme from her death after giving birth. Why wouldn't they just get a c-section to save her. After all, they had the medical technology to attach mechanical arms and what not right? C- section happens, no dark side conversion, movie over. . . . series over.

thats what i was getting from that fight

What's wrong with 1970's broadcast switchers???? (the control in the death star-old Grass Valley swticher)

Well, I liked it better then the first two, but I was again disappointed and I am a star wars fan

Got some of the same complaints as the first two....way too drawn out. The politcal crap is back and for some people it might be a little hard to follow. They could have done a cliff notes version of the politics imho rather then boring us with it.

There are certain things as you watch the movie you have that " Yeah right, that's totally possible" sarcasm intended.

for example, a simple C-Section woud have saved everyone a few headaches or in this case the universe :)

And, there's a bunch of litle stupid things like the battle between obi-wan and aniken while literally a few feet above molten lava ( See, another "yeah right, that's possible " moment) did u happen to notice that they didn't even break a sweat? I guess jedi don't sweat while fighting, and are resistent to volcanic heat.

The entire movie I was waiting for darth vader, and sure enough, it's at the very end, and it's about an entire 5 mins long. Hearing James Earl jones voice again was cool though.

The drama between aniken and whats her name was cheesy at best. Oh, and just a side note, she looks a lot better with long hair.

Anyways, I can go on and on like this

The action scenes were well done, and the sword fighting was excellent.

s***, battery is bout to die in laptop....

I would have to agree with some of you. However, I knew that I would not be impressed with the movie therefore I did not go to a theatre to see it. Yes, b**** and say s*** to me all you want about being a pirater, but why pay $10 to see a movie if I do not know if it will be worth it? That was my thought. So I downloaded it and watched it last night after work and I am glad that I did not pay to see it.

The movie lacked a lot of stuff. It was way drug out and some of it was just cheesy. When C3PO says "I feel so useless...". Yeah, that was cheesy. Anyways, I still 'might' go see it in the theatre (contradicting myself, I know) but I am undecided yet. Maybe I will actually burn it and watch it on my DVD Player with surround sound tonight and see how it goes. I kind of had to keep the audio turned down and bass off due to people sleeping in my house. So, tonight it just might be all on. Then we will see what I think after that.

As of right now, it was way too drug out. And the ending just didn't work for me. I was left feeling unfinished. For someone who had seen 4, 5 and 6 when they I was about six years old, this third one makes barely any sense except for Luke and Leigha, which I never knew were siblings.

Well, more to come later I am sure...

Was 6 years old the last time you saw them? Didn't know they were twins?

At first when I saw General Grivious I was thinking "WTF??!? Why is a droid coughing and acting like he is a chain smoker?" I didn't realize that he was part bug too.

At the end of the Clone Wars cartoons, Windu crushes Grevious' chest right before he gets away, that is why he is coughing.

he was still just a small boy during the period of EPIII it's not until 16 years later or so, when he is a young adult, that they can re-introduce him again

He was hunting wookie and learning how to be like his father.

Darth Sidious is the master of puppeteering, he had a plan in place for many years, back to the end of the Sith Wars, on how the Sith would rule again.

Ahh I see, I didn't see the last 3 episodes of the clone wars volume 2. Makes more sense now.

Just got back, and I thought it was great. I think that some of you guys had a different take on a few things than I did though... so here's my .02...

First, Windu is pretty much the most powerful Jedi when it comes to the light saber and direct combat. That is why he was able to kick some ass on the emperor (Yoda may be the more powerful Jedi all around, but Windu is taller for one:p). Not saying that the Emperor didn't pull a little trickery there to get Anakin to defend him, but you guys that are saying it sucked because Yoda should have done as well or better than Windu are wrong.

About the C-section... that is just stupid. Anakin wasn't forseeing her death as something that was caused from the actual birth of the kids, he was forseeing her death that HE was going to cause (even though he didn't know it at the time). She didn't die from giving birth, she died because she lost him... so what in the world is a C-section going to accomplish?

The end battle was amazing... damn obi wan ****** up Anakin bad. "Don't do it Anakin, I've got the higher ground". Slice... off with all of your limbs except the one that was already cut off, lol.

I will say this though, that movie was not uplifting at all... definitely makes you want to come straight home and watch episode 6 so you can see the revenge of the good guys.:)

second i got home i watched 4,5, and 6. my favorite was when yoda owned the two red guards.

to know, if obi-wan just sliced anakin instead of just leaving him there, maybe some of the problems would have been solved...(minus grevious still ruling the galaxy)...or if anakin let mace kill sidious...
