Saw a video on youtube with a ms3 with a bad motor mount and there was oil all over the engine can anyone tell me why this happens?..
I know the stock ones are super bad and i lauched my car couple days ago and heard a pop and i think i shot mine out. Now i hear a squeek only on take off and low rpms..and i plan on getting a aftermarket one

It's a fluid filled mount to dampened engine vibration. Its got a light oily substance in it.

I tried a burnout at the track with a stock mount and heard a pop. The pop was it coming out of gear from wheel hopping so hard. My heart started again when I realized what had happend and I ordered a new mount the next day.

i heard the same pop doing the same thing wow..since u got the mount has it gone away?

Same thing here - pop noise during a hard take-off didn't even drop the clutch, just took off easy into first and floored it.
Later I had squeaking sound that drove me nuts during take off in first and engagement into second.
Replaced the mount and found it was cracked.

Put a SURE RMM in the car and no more squeaking. Lots of vibes with the AC on but it drives better by far.
You might get away with putting the Corksport inserts in your OEM mount instead. Cheaper and reportedly does just about the same thing as an after market RMM but it's softer.

I just installed the James Barone Racing Billet Aluminum RMM and from a vibration standpoint, it's much better than anything else I've felt so far. I used to have the AWR 77D in there and thought my steering wheel and dash were going to jump right out of the car when the A/C was on. I put up w/it for two yrs and couldn't take it anymore. So I went back to OE... till now.
I have heard that the CorkSport inserts transmit a lot of vibration into the cabin as well. I wouldn't go there.
And the other cheap way out, the epoxy trick, has been proven not to be a good idea either.
Bite the bullet, pay the $120 and get the JBR mount.

Im running all three of minerva motorwerkz mouns and i got say the vibration isnt bad...i mean you can feel it in your seet but the dash or steering wheel isnt rattling around lol the only complaint ive had is when i put ther trans mount in i can hear almost like a gear whine in first and second...but i did get all three for under 300 so i think its worth it :D
