Engine grounding points?

Ive already grounded my TB and im lovin' it. I want to ground other parts too but have some questions.

The points i want to ground are:
1.Engine block
2.Cylinder head
3.Fuel rail
4.Alternator
5.Intake manifold
6.Transmission

My question is do i ground them all at one grounding point all together, or is it okay if i ground them anywhere sepretly (For example, ground the engine block on the factory grounding point, ground the fuel rail at another grounding point.)? And what gauge wire should i use? Mabey 4?
Feedbacks are appreaciated. Thanks

im not sure about the points, but i think 4gauge wire is a littl too much. i think 10 or 8 would be plenty.

Whichever way you ground it you should follow the basic concept of the least resistence is better. If you find out the best way from someone that has superior knowledge on the subject, let me know. I run a pretty big system and would def. like to know the most efficient way to ground out the car. Thanks

i don't have superior knowledge but i'm totally grounded, all to one point with 8 gauge wire and all is well. what i mean by one point is all wire ends are grounded within a 1/4 inch of each other, that way i can keep it neat and don't have wires every where.

i wanted to ground some other parts on my car and decided that i should take off the negative terminal on my battery and i took it off and grounded some parts. Then when i was putting the terminal back to the battery, sparks started comming out! I opened the terminal bigger and put it back on. I had something grounded to the negative terminal before i took it out but now im afraid to put it back. Any way i could put it back without getting shocked?

If you have sparks coming out, you either hooked something up wrong or there was something drawing on the system (door open, key on, etc).

Was it big sparks or just little ones?

im sure all doors and trunk were closed and the key was off the ignition. And im pretty sure that i grounded my engine right.

i have the sun industries kit.

it is universal grounding points, but it seems to work for me

I was always told redoing the grounding all together would help dimming lights when you held all 4 power window buttonsup when windows were already fuul up and rumor was tranny would shift lil better(ATX duh)

gains received won't be noticable. only real way of doing it properly is to meaure all the grounding spots to make sure your getting best ground at each point, and dyno it before and after to even tell if you get a 1-2hp gain or not.

does anybody have there schematic on how they grounded this car. If so I would appreciate it if you could Pm me. I am running a big system with a cap and I am still getting dimming and feedback noise. I would like to try grounding before I go buy a red top. Just to see if the differance is noticable. Thanks

Hey man, I've been fooling around with the extra grounding points. I have not found any hp gains but my headlights dont dim anymore and my throttle response is better. By grounding the throttle body. But the grounds do help the electrical system
