Engine Cleaning

Hi all. I am new here and a new Protege5 owner. Love this car. Haven't had a fun car in a while. Anyways what parts of the engine do I need to cover before I clean it out. No modding until I have a cleaner engine. Thanks

Welcome. I'm new here too and also just recently purchased a 2003 silver P5. After doing many searches, I discovered there is a "How To" forum with lots of great stuff in it. I found a post regarding cleaning your engine bay. Hopefully it will provide some answers for you. There's probably other posts as well.
