hey ryan, tearing up your car? those turbo components you got a while back, you actually going to put a turbo in it now?

not yet... this tear down is for my CP pistons, Oliver rods, Toga bearings, and I'm going to massage the block a little to strengthen it and make it oil better.

Beau is making a few changes to the thumper kit so I am waiting for them to be done before I recieve the rest of my kit. besides my special order GT3071 turbo isn't in yet.... (GT3037 is standard) but soon.

Haha, right.. its called "still living at home!"

And for the pictures, not much progress was made monday and tuesday, but ALAS! My radiator has FINALLY come in!... Enjoy!

This means I can FINALLY crank the car tomorrow! Lets hope things go smoothly!

Ryan, I'll check the cap when I put it in and let you know. The radiator came with the cap and the plug, I dont think the AWR one comes with either.

And no, I dont forsee myself EVER selling this car. :: crosses fingers ::

Got the radiator in at lunch, and then filled it up at 3 when I went back. I started the car right up, just needed a little bit of cranking before it took off. I took the car down the street to get gas and on the way back I opened it up a little bit. MAN DO I LOVE THIS CAR!. I was at the lowest boost setting and the car still kicked ass. I can't wait to get my gauges and start tuning and upping the boost.
