Thats kind of insulting...

I am not just doing it for shows. I plan on forged internals, and supporting mods in the near future. I didnt just sell my TIENS for more expensive JIC coilovers just for show, I want to get into autox and racing...

Meh, I like it too. I dont want to have a straight race car, or a straight show car.. My car is my main means of transportation. I like that I have some performance, some show, and some comfort modifications. If I wanted to just have a fast car, I wouldnt start with a Protege.

I wont argue that people are getting great numbers out of a protege, HP wise. But compared to what some cars come with stock, performance mods on a protege is not the way to go if you are trying to be the fastest guy out there. As far as comparing the gains to what this car started out with stock, people are making hella progress.

If you drive your car on the street then you can't want the fastest thing out there.

I kinda went overboard instead of just fixing the remaining damage, but whatever. I know I will like it when its all done.

When its done, it will look better, go faster, and the audio will sound better. I am guestimating it being done in 2-3 months.

How did you get screwed if you dont mind me askin? I just got screwed my self on some body work and they are not willing to fix the problem. just curious! (pow)
 
The first body shop welded the core support on in the wrong place, the frame was still an INCH off, and they didnt primer anything so the paint color looked WAY off.. also, they decided they didnt need a paint booth... (WTF???)..

They didnt want to give me any more than a $400 discount.. and said they would fix it themselves, I told them that I do not want them to touch the car. I took it to another shop and I am paying an ADDITIONAL $2500 to fix the problems and then some.
 
i am glad you got it covered ahmad, that would really vaccum if you couldn't.. and i am happy you got your car back!! looken good.
 
ahmad... how did u take the part right infront of the passanger seat off...
