Should I look into inquiring about flashing my ecu I noticed some of you where talking about getting it done but are there any benefits to the update or downsides to it.

I do notice that when I drive my car rolling from dead stop to about 25 the car goes fine then like a mini jump in power other than that it drives great so far I have driven the car @80mph with no problem in ower change or drag.

but someone had mentioned that the flash changes when the vehicle hits 6th gear that now 6th gear you have to be at like 70mph.

let me know if I should bother to do it or not

I have the flash. I know some have complained about not hitting 6th soon enough, but I haven't experienced that. It DOES hold onto each gear a little longer.

Some of it depends on how each person drives. I'm not a lead-foot... but I like to have fun. Once I'm up to cruising speed though (50+) I am VERY LIGHT on the gas pedal, and it makes a difference. I've noticed when it's sitting in fifth gear at 50 or 55 mph, slightly lifting your foot from the gas pedal causes the car to go into 6th. I have consistently been in 6th gear when doing normal 50+ mph cruising.

The flash DOES improve smoothness on acceleration - there's no doubt about it. There's less of a "dead spot" at the beginning and the perception of turbo lag is significantly reduced.
