dual exhaust tip question...

im going to be getting an exhaust fabricated/welded for me and i was wondering if you think id lose any power from using dual 2-2.5" piping. this is going to be used for a full 8-9 psi intercooled turbo project eventually.

Just wait till you get the turbo to do the exhaust. Just my thoughts

Dual exhausts are ricey unless you REALLY need it. Which you don't. Stick with a single exhaust.

plus if you intend on eventually getting a turbo ou're prolly better off just getting a single tip...

Hi, I know I am new in this thread just wanted to put my two cents in. I have a custom dual exhaust for my ride. It is not a MP3 or MPS but I love the feel I get ot of it from having dual on my 2.0. I will post a pic of my set up as soon as I can. It is a dual tip dual exhaust. Yea there is a bit more weight but it is ok for me. I don't feel more power but I also don't feel less power from it. Makes it look mean though. (dunno)

If you're going for looks, then it's your decision, but most people are probably going to tell you that it isn't really worth your time, and can actually lower your power output before you start your boost setup.

I'm sorry but that dual tip exhaust looks goofy as hell!!! It sticks out way too far and would look especially bad from the side. If you're going to do a dual tip exhaust make sure it fits nicely especially if you're going for looks instead of power!!!

.....well it has been over 1/2 tear. maybe 20EVOLUTION01 took about 3-4 inches off his pipes and his car looks better now? i bet his system would look so much cleaner if he had done this.......
