Yeah, in some magazine reviews, the new 09 WRX is faster then the latest STI by a few tenths of a second. It's true.

when is the first meet? me my brother and my friend with a reg. 3 are going to attend them!
it happens because the car is making 265hp now..and hasn't made 220 since 05...they have been underrating the car for some time but the 09 is now rated at 265...also it takes 2 shifts to get to 60 in the wrx vs. 3 in the sti due to the 6 speed.

yea the added a whole list of s*** to the 09 so that they could keep up with the MS3 you ever see the articles where the MS3 whoops the s*** out of the 08? so they added more power and a better suspension for 09 so that way they can keep up with us

WRX i think beat the MS3 in 0-60 cause of its all wheel drive, but lost in every other test including the 1/4 mile.

I can see why people would say that, cuz stis are sick but some people are just stupid
The EVO X makes the new STI look like s*** (Performance & looks) Reviews of the new STI suggest its not a very good daily driver and that its fun only when pushed to its obsolute limit (aren't going to be doing that much on my daily commute) The MS3 for example is fun to drive reguardless if you're beating the s*** out of it are not. Same thing could be said about a lot of cars but not the STI.

I beat a stock 07 sti with only an intake in my speed.. so i wouldnt go as far as saying its much faster..
I guess it really all comes down to the driver not the numbers.

thats just your uneducated opinion. when it comes to performance the sti beats the evo x around numerous tracks and the top gear track. their 0-60 and qm numbers are very close, so I dont know where your getting your info from but look again. most of the major magazines say the interior is better in the sti, and that its great as a daily driver. Again not sure where you are getting your info from...

yeah the cops dont **** with the MS3s as much as they would an Evo or STi and i love that!
and some stupid kids cant tell the difference and think they're racing me in a 3hatch and then i smoke them cause of the turbooooooooo (first)
first is definitely fun, first time i did a hardcore legit burn out, i shifted into second and was spinning until redline, and i got scared so i let off
but im sure that i can burn into 3rd esp with a few mods (headbang)- Status
