DCR O2, Down pipe, Muffler Delete, 3" Intake, Water Injection, thermostat, big oil filter kit, 93 pump gas tune...

stock WGA, ECU controlled boost...

and a few minor peaks and tweaks here and there...


while they are just bolt ons, I'd say it's also somewhat extensive mod wise.

didnt a ms3 on the forums get close to or higher than 400 whp with water/meth?
 
Considering there is a MS3 with basically the same type of setup hitting 400hp, I'm not too impressed.

That SRT4 has all the mods including Meth Kit. So ah yah, it will out dyno a MS3 with just a CAI.
 
yea big deal. Add those mods to a ms3/tune it on meth and your looking at more who than that. Why even compare a modded tuned car to a ms3 with an intake? I cant wait to see one of those on the street.(inout)

also after today we'll no longer own our caliber sxt, if everything works out, glad to be rid of this thing!
 
yea i laughed when i read the mod list and the numbers...ms3 with same setup is closer to 400...hopefully u have a camera rolling if u race one..i want to see

No worries man! I love reading about other cars from owners or people who aren't from a magazine.
 
this looks good the one nice thing about the srt4 is it comes from the factory with an adjustable WGA so tighten down that spring and wohooo you have more power. in the neon you had to get mopar stage 2 WGA or aftermarket to get that

true but for some reason adj the arm to make more boost puts the car into limp mode ....not sure why but for the car being out less than 2 weeks I think this should be a fun battle to watch!(drive2)

also I see you are in Columbus...my buddy that lives there..he has a white 06 sti ...if you see one with an ASOC sticker on the back window..... tell him his car sucks and tell him it's from Bryan from home!!!!

how heavy are calibers? i know they have alot of plastic...so maybe lighter than an ms3? lol

decent numbers, but that's alot of mods. though i dont know how much power they actually got from a big oil filter and a thermostat (unless the stock thermo really really really sucks and runs super hot). i'd say minus the breathing mods, the meth/water injection is doing most of the work, esp if it's still on ecu controlled boost.

i'd like to see a dyno of one on stock boost with just intake and TBE (breathing mods), that would be a fair comparison to an MS3 with similar mods to see which one gets better gains from simple stuff.
