Because it is a temporary thing and it isn't practicle for everyday use or road track use. Using NOS on an everyday driven car to get more power for dyno purposes doesn't impress me. While it is fun to see how much power can be made with NOS, I want to see what kind of power the car is making constantly and consistantly while driving down the street everyday.
I do agree it is a great way to gain power on the drag strip or dyno, but claiming you have a 407HP car with 480ftlbs tq is a bit silly when you can only do it for a few seconds. This is a 350hp car and I won't give credit to a 407hp car, even though it is impressive.
