DCR Caliber Srt-4 dyno's 313whp/305whtq

30? If the car traps 110 or 100, its a differnt car, doesnt matter if its the same ms3

I disagree...you have experience with the car..how it feels, where to shift, etc...they have only had the car 2 weeks and made a handful of passes. give that car/driver 30 passes and see where it is at is all I am saying. they needed the driver mod installed baddly!

how it feels? It feels different after mods. Where to shift, i have to figure that out after each mod as that also changes lol. Launching, i went from 3200 to idle. the only thing that stays the same is the clutch feel.....for now lol

well of course it feels diff..i was not stating that.. my point is - same car/track/driver + 30 passes = faster times. you cannot argue with that.

heck i bet if you had the time to fine tune your driving you would pull off an even faster pass than the 12.9 ... wouldn't you agree?

i disagree, i left early after my 12.9 cause i knew it wanst going to go any faster. The run was as good as it was gonna get on winter tires.

same car? yes, differnt mods make it react different. If you told me to take some1 bone stock ms3 and hit a 13.9 with it based on the way i drive my car, i would lucky to hit mid 14s. It would bog, followed by being over reved, followed by alot of cursing when i see a 14.5 @ 96
same track? no, ive been to 4 different tracks.
same driver? yes lol

If u watch their video it was a joke. Clutch dump, tire spin, into short shifting and bogging 2nd. BTW how the **** do u bog 2nd gear on a 330whp car with NO TRACTION. obviously there was traction

wow you love to argue....lol....i feel like i am talking to my wife...i can never win!

i will make my statement again and leave it at that - give the csrt more seat time and the times will be there

i agree with that, i just think their excuses are bulls*** lol

My money would be on the SRT. They said the smoked the tires, know one knows how bad or how long and still had the speed and time. Hook it up and the MS3 will take a hurt.

check the mod lsit compared to the fastest mazda 3's on our site...i would say that caliber is modded heavily and more than any mazda on here...if it didnt beat a mazda with those mods (dont think it could) then i would have to laugh, honestly

so with a 1.8 they would get a 12.3 or should.... with a super list of mods(freak)

no a 1.8 would be closer to 11's...the prob is the drive by wire on this car. during shifts it closes the throttle and makes the car fall on it's face. i'll let bayshore chime in with the details but once the dbw issue is fixed, if it can be, then it should be even quicker(drinks)...dodge put alot of electronic gizzmo's into this car that the aftermarket are going to have to get around.

I feel like nitrous is cheating in a way and would ingnore any dynos or time slips that used nitrous to get the numbers. If you can't do it without nitrous, then you can's do it period.

Laloosh, have you gotten a dyno lately to see where you are at, I'm sure you're not too far off that C-SRT4's 349hp and 394ftlbs of tq with far less modding done to your car.

how did it pick up 58hp with a 35 shot? Is it due to a cold charge?
i would most likely say so, or another mod was added

fyi guys - n2o on a turbo car usually picks up more power than jetted for..this is very common.

how is it cheating? it's another power adder nothing more nothing less.

It's always been my thought that there is no such thing as cheating when it comes to power adders. If it adds power, well, it adds power. :)

I have to disagree with you. NOS is not just adding a bottle. Like any mod if you do it wrong you'll blow. I also feel there is no difference in adding a shot or adding a CAI. Both are mods and both add hp. The way I see it is NOS is better, you can get more hp for less money. Drive it normal and you still get the manufactures MPG. Go turbo and usually that is blow out the window.
