DavidNavone LOC's

i'm looking into hooking my 4-channel amplifier with the stock headunit and after learning that i will need to use speaker-level inputs and i do not have the harness for my amplifier, i decided to look at the line output converters on davidnavone.com. i don't know whether i'll be going into some crazy audio setup yet but i wanted to know if it's really worth the buck to go with a "2-channel, full-range speaker level to pre-amp level line output adapter", "N-774 FOUR-CHANNEL HI-Q FULL RANGE OEM ADAPTOR", variable or not, or just an "economy" one listed earlier in their lineup.

any enlightment on this matter would be greatly appreciated! (2thumbs)

I use the N774V with my factory head unit. It is an excellent loc. Sound quality is excellent and good signal strength.

I tried cheap locs and they all introduced noise into the signal path.

Dave's stuff is excellent. Send him an e-mail and ask what he recommends for your system. That's how I ended up with the N774V.

I've been all smiles since I added the unit to my signal chain.

I have the N774V feeding 2 amps that in turn feed upgraded speakers and a 12' sub in the trunk.

I had tried other locs and speaker level inputs on my amp. Neither produced the sound quality of the N774V.
