I look at it this way, for less then half of what it would cost to make the MSP produce the numbers the STOCK SRT-4 does reliably, you can make the SRT-4 handle better then the MSP.

Im 30 and own the MSP. I love the look of my car, but looks alone do not please me. Its like a woman, who wants one that is hot as hell, but gives you s*** half the time? I would rather have a decent looking car, that like to put out power, and is willing to give more, if more is given to it. You cant do that with the MSP.

For crying out loud, the changed the damn internals on the MS Miata, but couldnt do that for us. Frikkin Mazda.

Mazda makes a lot more off the miatas so they had a large profit margin to play with. They got internals, better suspension, bigger wheels, iridium plugs, all the mazdaspeed stuff for 1500 dollars.....

I don't think miata got the internals... If they did, i'm goign to the dealer <S>this</S> next weekend and trading my msp in...

Evil, you like you msp the fact that you have memories with it... I guess you would have a harder time getting girls in a Neon but still u would like your srt-4 if you had memories.

Go get the sport compact car magazine. There is ANOTHER writeup praising Mazdaspeed, and how they did it right again with the Miata. IIRC, I dont have the article in front of me, the internals have been reworked to be boost friendly, I dont think they put forged internals in it though. BUT, the point is, they had internal work done to make it more boost friendly.

Yea, 412 WHP 459 WTQ. Did it all with a 12:5 A/F ratio. Stock forged+GReddY= Major HP numbers.
