Well... i might as well give you guys an update and a little hint of whats to come. The car was professionally buffed yesterday and zaino'ed. The shine is unparrelled. I forgot my camera as I was in a rush to get the zaino on and the car back in its garage under cover before this late winter storm is about to hit us (18+ inches).
The idea is this. There will be one last update showing the car detailed in this thread. After that, i plan on creating, whadaya know, a Summer Update Thread! Yay! There have been a lot of unforseen expenses lately, and I actually have a girlfriend now *GASP*, so i feel somewhat oblidged to take her out to dinner and do nice things, which cost money from time to time.
But I will give you the inside scoop on what is going to be done this summer. Look for complete details around May, as some of this stuff is still being sorted out. Some of the winter items are being held out until this summer for financial constraints.
- GTX Gearing (175mph top speed)
- Welded LSD
- NSN Tranny Cooler
- MAM Manifold
- Cutout Installed
- Brakes Installed (FINALLY!!!)
- GT2871R (Maybe, i kinda want to see what the stocker can make though)
- APR CF Splitter
- Optima Yellowtop
- All Piping, Apex Plate, etc repolished.
- PCV Routing fixed
- New Catch Can Setup
- Rear Main seal replaced
The aboves are the "for sures". Waiting in the wings are Sparco Milano 2's in black suede and a full interior reupholster to match, switch to a vibrant 3" exhaust, new wheels (advans or bust!)
I'll keep you guys in the loop. I might be holding off on the 71R this summer though because i really dont need more power now, and I really want to use that money to build up a nice little buffer for the winter, and try and get the banana paid off. Ya know, responsible stuff like that. I've been modding too much, and i'm gonna slow it down a lot this summer.
