How is the midpipe with cutout comming?

I'm wondering how the engine sounds with no cats and no exhaust.

I'm gonna have to. Anytime i make a power addition to my car, it has to be retuned, because i'm running the standalone. No more stock PCM autocorrecting the mix... we have to retune for every change. So the manifold is gonna make a big change on the tune, and we will have to make driveability and WOT tunes with the cutout open and closed.

Should be some NICE gains. (boom07)

Holy moly, you already can do a buck fifty plus fairly easily (and I would imagine get there quick), that's just freakin' scary.

car looks great, even with blue tape on it why not get a 3m clear bra? you only have to replace it once every couple years I think.

I saw one (the entire frontend protection package) on a white Mazda6 and it looked really good, I didn't notice until I was really close and even then it didn't distract from the look of the car. Maybe it doesn't blend in as well with the Mica paint?

i had asked the guy that does all the paint/body work about front end protection. i had just gotten my car back from having them repaint the hood and some front pieces from s*** hitting me on the highway.

he said the bra's usually do more damage than they actually help, and that the clear coats usually give the car an unwanted thickness and tend to fade quickly.

but, i have no firsthand experience.

I've seen this on black, red, and yellow Protege5's and initially, it's not too noticeable. However, I've found that over time it does tend to stand out and 'fade' more, especially on the darker cars.
