2017~2024 CX-5 Turbo and plugs!

:
2019 CX5 Reserve AWD
What is it about the turbo that requires the plug to be replaced at around 40,000? I just hit 40,800 and noticed the vehicle is not running like it used to.
I've noticed some subtle stumbling at low and moderate speeds. Never had it before.

Anyway, plugs are being replaced this coming Tuesday.

I think it’s BS every 40 K miles for plug changes. Unless you’re living in a Third World country where gas is pretty bad and not controlled. In the US, we have a lot of stringent rules to ensure that gas is pretty consistent. When we pulled out my old plugs they look perfectly fine and even my mechanic said they could’ve gone for another 20 if not, 30,000 miles.
Mind you I pick the car up with almost 40,000 miles and pretty sure the previous owner was strictly running regular cheapo gas.
