Fuel System De-Carbonation by Firestone worth it?

I noticed that Firestone hangs a bottle of GTX from the hood while the car runs. They call it Fuel System De-Carbonation.

Is it worth it? I always use Tier 1 gas.

Throttle body was clean from outside and the edges as far as I can see. Has 115k on it.

No, it's not worth it, it's a private label pea being fed by drip.
I fell for this once, it's basically a scam.
Techron would do same or even better.

Firestone readily told me that Dealer recommends every 30k!
And reminded me of a coupon expiring the same day!

I would like to get some better mpg - Integra got totalled so my partner take it to work 6 miles each way!

Forget anything Firestone has said or is selling. Just use a Royal Purple or Techron fuel additive from your local auto store.

I could see this being more necessary if the Mazda5 had an engine with direct fuel injection. But it doesn't. With Port fuel injection, the fuel is sprayed into the intake runners, mixes with the intake air going into the engine, and effectively washes the back of the valves as it goes into the combustion chamber.
