2013~2016 CX-5 Clunk after changing rear rotors and pads

:
2013 CX-5 GT
On my 2013, I replaced my rear rotors and pads last month and after a couple of weeks, I can hear a single clunk when engaging the brakes at low speed (around 40km/h).

I lubed everything (slide pins, mounting hardware, etc.) and (re)torqued everything according to the owners manual. I think the break pads "knocks" against the caliper bracket (there seems to be a small gap).

I installed BOSCH BC1624 QuietCast; Ceramic. Did I remove too much rust on the caliper bracket before installing the hardware clips? Maybe the bosch mounting hardware are thinner than other brands? Someone experienced the problem? Solutions?

I think if the brake pads are too loose in the brackets you’ll get this sound. Did you compare the pads to the ones you removed?

Could try be bending the hardware clips slightly so they grab the pad and seat it a little tighter. This usually fixes and noise/play the pad may be causing. However, on my Honda Accord, I had AZ Duralast pads and no matter I did to the clips, I couldn't get the pads to not make noise over bumps. I ended up just going to OEM pads and hardware and had no issues. Ymmv
