Good call man. Sometimes you gotta say goodbye to your car(sad2)YlowP5 said:Ok... that's enough with all the complaining. Like I said B4, I don't blame the other driver... He had a green light and wasn't doing anything wrong by going through the intersection (although I'd think that he'd notice a bright yellow car crossing traffic.)
I'm not gonna use this accident as an excuse to mimic "The American Way", i.e. sue somebody (or the city, in this case) just so I can add to my bank account. This was a no fault accident (unless you want to blame The City).
I'm not gonna take the time and effort to deal w/ a court battle just so I can get some extra cash out of the deal. I'm going to, sadly, say goodbye to my YlowP5 and move on. Sure, I did suffer some painful injuries... but that's no reason to jump at the chance to sue somebody. My body will heal itself (that's one of God's great designs), and the car will be replaced.
As a Christian, I'm thanking God for protecting during the accident (it could have been A LOT worse), and I'm gonna get the check from the insurance company and go out and buy another car (please don't get me wrong... I absolutely LOVED my P5; but it's not worth stressing over a material possession).
ANYWAY... I just thought it would be nice to express my views on the situation... after all, it was MY car that got totalled.
Sorry for the long-winded post...
I'm proud of you for not going wild and suing everyone you can possibly lay blame on.
