Custom Exhaust

hey im looking to remove my 2 cat on my 05 mazda3 sp23 n/a sedan.... any info about what parts to use and size...

First off, welcome to the forums. I am no expert on this, but. From what I can tell Mazda used 2 1/4" pipe. Since an exhaust shop can't legally remove a converter, you will have to cut out the cat yourself. Then take your specs to that same exhaust shop and have them make a pipe up. Only catch might be the 2nd oxygen sensor, it is my understanding that you can weld in a spark plug non-fouler and thread the O2 sensor into it (search the forum for this). You can also try to Google search "test pipes" not sure you will find one for a 3 but you might try the speed3. Good luck.

Don't think the speed3 test pipe will work. The angle upward toward the downpipe on the speed3 where as the MZ3 header comes out level to the flange of the Cat. You will probably have to do a custom job on that one as stated by hat1018. If you look at pics of a test pipe for the speed3 you will see what i'm talking about how the pipe is bent and not straight like ours.
