Custom DVD install

I bought the new Clarion DVD motorized screen, but in the two protege's I have seen this installed in I didn't like the fact it stuck out alot from the dash.

So I did a custom mount myself. What do you think???

Looking for some opinions, and maybe some suggestions on what to do with the real estate under the DVD??? This was my plan B for installing the DVD player as plan A kinda fell through on me. So I was left with a little extra flat space

is there a how to by any chance on what you did to your consol to make it flush like that????? if not can you either make one or describe one please!!!!!

Just a guess what he did, but it was probably made with ABS plastic and bondo. That is personally how I would do it. It could have also been made with fiberglass.

How do the W7 sound? I'm thinking of going with a 8W7 myself. One thing though I only want to run one. I have a amp that has 200watts RMS - 4ohm load. I'm wondering if the 3-ohm load will make a difference and possibly hurt my amp.

you could put guages in there... i've seen some people do that before, looks alright...
