I was just readin about this and was curious if anyone knew if it was actually worth it or not, since we all have problems with our engines not handling the power were wanting. i was thinking about getting it done and giving u guys some feed back but i dont know that much about it? any insight i just talked to my buddy who is a mechanic on a mazdaspeed race team and they all said its worth it.

nothing is wrong with the block itself. It's the internals that suck. The solution, rebuild the motor with forged rods and pistons. People have also debated this treatment for our stock gearset. The solution, don't beat it too death and once you reach a certain power level, rebuild it with a better gearset like PAR engineering. No cryo treatment needed.

yea i guess so. yea my buddy said to do the gearbox i just thought it was alll pretty interesting im saving up for my pistons now then ill be getting forged if my motor doesnt blow befor then lol 132,000 orig miles orig turbo lol

Cyro treating stock gearset won't solve the issue with it twisting and breaking the teeth of the gear. Straight cut is the only real fix.

Thanks for all the reports guys, nice to hear that.
