Yes its painfull ,look on the bright side you could put the Wings west bumper on now instead of the stock bumper . I would try and see if your insurance will go for that ,if you are putting in a claim . The cost should be about the same . Its worth checking out . One must always look for the silver linning inside the cloud .

Well to begin with you are typing so I am assumeing you are just fine. (Excluding your Pride) The car is not really that bad mostly cosmetics. I would estimate 3000 beans or better. I think as long as you are OK, thats what they made the body shop for. Looks like a good opportunity to buy a wingswest bumper and a auto exe grill. :D

Sorry about your wreck though hope your car will be show worthy once again very soon.

$3,000! jsut buy another wheel and bumper put that on your self should be close to good as new. good luck, and don't crash it agian!

thats not all THAT bad dude, at least your ok. btw, how did you scrape rims on opposite sides of the car? is the hood actually over a bit, or is it just that picture?

I don't know...on the highway...you hydroplane and hit a concrete barrier? you came out pretty clean considering....glad you are okay...and it appears as though the damage is mostly all cosmetic.....

(stash)

Oucccchhhhh. Yeah bro think about it. It could have been worse. You're lucky u haven't slammed your car to the ground yet cause otherwise it would have taken out your front headlight

I dunno Nuke, why is that hood over on the right side? I bet he'll find the unbody tweaked slightly.

Sorry to hear about the accident. Glad you're ok. I saw a nasty center punch this afternoon on the ride...sure it was a Nissan Altima, but still....

true bob.....it MAY be worse than it looks.....but they ARE here to talk/type about it.

Absolutely! Cars are easy to fix and/or replace.

Of course, that fact doesn't help the horrible feeling you get when you climb out and the blood drains from your head when you see your little car damaged.

Well....as well as the bumper, it seems as if the body is twisted a bit in the front....the large gap in between the hood and right quarter panel is evience of this. Guess thats what proffesional body shops get paid for. Hell....it's no use in worrying now, I'm alive and injury free. Thanks to all who were concerned about my health. I go to get my estimate Moday morning....I will let you all know how it turns out.

Ray

Even if you tweaked the front unibody a little, don't worry, today's computerized "frame" straightening is excellent. Anytime you take a hit (like that) you will get the alignments out of whack. Simple physics.

They have the technology, they can rebuilt it.

Man, that really sucks Ray... but at least your ok!! I'm sure it'll be easy to get that fixed, it doesn't look too bad. Look on the bright side it could of been a lot worse! Hope all goes well with the fixin!

Mel, that sucks man. I just saw it in great shape just a few weeks ago. :-(

How fast were you going anyway?
