Corrugated EGR tubing?

Ok well I am not sure witch number is the part number on the package but there is a number on the lower left hand corner of the front of the package that is: PM15X103 and the bar code number that is on the back is: 84691 80497. The product is made by GE and it reads: "Universal 48" gas range installation kit for all brands", and it is in a clear blue and orange package with a picture of a kitchen stove on the front. I got it from home depot right next to the appliances(not the plumbing section of the store).

And here are some pics of what it looks like so far:

Haha...Taking the scenic route back to the Intake....

lol yah I had to. The sucker is 48" long! And maybe that will give some time for the air going through the EGR tube to cool off a little.

CEL forever FTL

Keep the EGR pipe hooked to your intake mani, and cut it short so that there's only about 9" of pipe. Stick a breather filter on the end, and your CEL is gone. THat's what I did. Worked liek a charm for months. You can see here my breather filter that I put on it, just under the water neck.

good call. KOOLDINO, DO IT.

If these pipes are stainless then they should be all good to hold up against the exhaust and heat right?

Bump! How is this working out for those who have done it? Thinking of maybe doin this when i install my header

When I did that, my car would wig out within the first 2 miles of driving every time I drove it.

Wierd... Mine ran perfectly. I actually got the idea from another member (forget who but yellow P5 turbo) and he also had no problems with it.

I am a lazy ******. I still havent gone up to lowes to get the fitting I need. I keep getting the wrong one :(

Wow, I was lookin all over for this! Thanks man.

I had to bust off the stock EGR when we tried to test fit my 626 mani.
Mani fit but the EGR tube with it did not no matter what we tried.
Then we found the fuel rail didn't mount and the injectors did not set properly in the mani and removed it.
So I ran for 5 months with a copper tube connecting to the EGR but not snaked thru the stock way, just looped from the side.
I didnt heat shield it and it melted thru some wires. So its sheilded now!
I was searching all over to find the place I read about that dryer hose flex tube.

thats allowing un-metered air in, leaning out your motor when the egr is open i'm thinking connecting it back to the intake after the MAF would cause less problems since you're only letting in air that is metered. i might give that a shot when i get back home. can't wait.
