CorkSport downpipes

Ive had my CS exhaust on stock hangers for a while & NEVER had an issue w/ them slipping out (mine looks the same as you describe) & now I've got KB hangers & it has not come out. Ive taken a look at it a few times after installing the KB hangers & it hasnt move on the exhaust hanger from the point where it was when I installed it so this is not a concern of mine.

Can some body PLEASE make a down pipe with a high flow cat for the N/A guys. I have the shorty header and want to stay legal but god wagners is to high.

Oh, get out of here Hughes, noone wants to make your stupid N/A dp.....;)

okay not that's done. Buy a high-flow cat, and piping online somewhere (summit maybe) and have a local shop weld it in. Same for anyone not wanting to spend $$ on a "kit"

i know this has been covered elsewhere but since im sitting in this thread ill post it here. A couple times since my exhaust has gone on I have gotten CEL. I think it goes several hundred miles before it comes on though im not sure how many, and I assume that it is from the o2 sensor in the exhaust. I aslo assume this is because the o2 sensor is supposed to be after a cat where it would see far different o2 levels.

Its not a big deal I just disconnect the battery for a mintue whenever this happens, but what is the best solution? disconnecting the battery? using the cpark plug arrestors I read about to space the o2 sensor away from the j-pipe? or maybe is there an aftermarket o2 sensor that would solve the issue? (I know there is also a soldering wires together solution but that sounds pretty mickeymouse to me and im thinking the spark arrestor would be easier if i went with a home made fix)

thx

Ive been using spark plug non foulers for over 10k miles w/ no CEL...easy fix too...

do you just buy any non-foulers and they work or are there diff sizes or anything ?

here it is....

Part 42002 for 3.99 at autozone. then a 1/2 inch drill bit will do the trick

I've already looked into that. But I just thought that having someone make it and sell it would help out the n/a guys and help the persons sells. But then that's what I get for thinking.

Yeah, that is what you get for thinking. We're not allowed to have minds of our own. I might forgoe buying a premade exhaust and go to a local shop and have them make one for me. They have to know what they are doing, I mean they have a 700+whp EVO.

If not, then CS might be the way for me, at least with the J section, I think the S section I'll leave alone for now.

So, anymore reviews?

i installed the corksport "J" pipe this weekend. Didn't have time for the "S" pipe.
The piece is nice and it helped out the performance a lot.
I'm not crazy about the flange though. I don't think it bolts up to the corksport exhaust nicely. Also if wasn't welded on and you could spin it like the corksport one it would be a lot better.
I'll let you know when I do the "S" pipe.
