cel and a melted spark plug

im pretty sure this is a fuel issue. how do i test the fuel pump if its good or bad?

edit: cel light came back. ran the code reader and im getting a p303. but i have no idea what to replace now since ive gone through almost everything..

how to take the seats out ha. i got the new pump in but now the car wont even turn over or crank. i dont even hear the fuel pump making any noises. im thinking it might be the fuel pump relay.

EDIT: Sorry, missed your last posts...

Check the FSM for that relay's position in the bay fuse box...I think its at or near the 12 O'clock position if looking from the front of the car, can't recall exactly though.

Before buying a new relay, make or pickup a little jumper wire and follow the FSM's directions...you can jump the fuel pump to come on without cranking the engine...and you'll immediately hear it and know if its turning on or off...its hard to tell when cranking the engine, thats all...if it jumps and turns on fine, its the relay...if it doesn't, you may have a short in the harness going back to the top of the fuel tank...which may have been causing the fuel problems all along...

Ok I'm confused your car was missfiring, you put an injector in and it wouldn't start? Now you think its the pump? Am I missing something? Did you check the fuse for the pump and the injectors? Maybe a fuel pressure test?
