im gonna say EGR. the spring mechanism is real s***, it gets stuck open.
take it off and clean it. i had a similar problem with my car.

uh... blowoff would be recirc'd to behind the air filter... so this makes no sense at all.

my rpms drop pretty bad when it gets really cold. i assume its my EGR, and will be ordering my CDM spec pretty soon to find out.

If the EGR was acting up that much I would assume you would get a CEL that you could scan to confirm. I have the rpm fluctuation when I have my BOV very loose as it lets air in when idling which messes up the idle and I will get a "lean condition" CEL which goes away when I tighten the BOV up a little. This is not to say that you are having the same issue but if there is a leak somewhere between the turbo and the throttle body or the recirculation of the bpv you could have an idle fluctuation

Check the crank and cam position sensors too. If they're loose, they wil cut spark to the engine if you go around a turn or whatnot. Coilpacks might me an issue too.

not true. My msp had a BIG boost leak (coupler came undone) and the clutch was engaged and I stalled. Check for a boost leak.

I have the same problem. Replaced the EGR valve with the updated canadian model, replaced spark plugs and air filter and it still does it.
