could be dirty air filter not alowing enough air to get to throttle after blow off causeing the car to drown in fuel and then come back.
Is this an automatic or a manual transmission[/COLOR]...It is pretty much impossible for a vehicle to "stall" when it is in motion.........
If the EGR was acting up that much I would assume you would get a CEL that you could scan to confirm. I have the rpm fluctuation when I have my BOV very loose as it lets air in when idling which messes up the idle and I will get a "lean condition" CEL which goes away when I tighten the BOV up a little. This is not to say that you are having the same issue but if there is a leak somewhere between the turbo and the throttle body or the recirculation of the bpv you could have an idle fluctuation
