boy oh boy has it.....but in the end YOU will have to make up your mind...as you will find just as many people, like myself that will tell you its a waste of money......as you will find people tell you you need one...
I have the Injen.....looking at its actual loacation....you would have to have your car in a MINIMUM of a foot of water for water to even START to touch your filter.....and it would have to cover it considerably before there would be enough suction for it to draw any water into the intake.....
NOW....I don't know about you....but you wouldn't catch me dead driving ANY small car into water that deep...under any circumstances......a jacked up truck? yes....a standard car? NO WAY.....and yes I live where we have very bad rain storms and can end up with flooded streets.....but I would rather sit in a parking lot somewhere than ever take a chance with a car in deep water....there is just to much other types of damage that can happen.......
also.....if Injen thought that a bypass was needed with their intake....don't you think that they would make one and cash in on that market? well they don't.
that is MY .02 on the subject. (stash)
oh yeah...and Mattrix, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. (stash)
make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
Welcome!! (stash)
