hey does anyone have the forge motorsports BOV from ebay? the cost is way cheaper than greddy or hks buy like $100 give or take. will this bov fit on the turbohoses hard pipe kit?? the only reason why i would go with the forge instead is cuz it doesnt need to be messed with so the car wont stall and i wont have to weld like the greddy and the hks??

I Do,mine came with the car when i bought, and to be honest with you it sucks......Save money and get a greddy or hks

I have it on my turbohoses Hardpipes and it sucks ass! At 120km/h plus it starts to leak air which becomes really annoying and gives you bad gas mileage. It also causes alot of stalling issues and Check Engine lights. I've currently put my stock by-pass valve back on and I'm planning on running a relocated MAF with a Greddy or HKS BOV.

Do yourself a favour and stay away from the Forge. I have tried to get the Forge to work with different springs and a Dual BPV/Forge setup with no success.

I've heard that the best functioning BOV you can get is the HKS SSQV. I just don't like it because of the sound (sounds like a turbo whistle).

I've already orderded the Relocation Kit. I don't want to mess around with the idle. I've decided to relocate the MAF and run a Greddy Type S.

you can "fix" the sound of the HKS ssqv by buying the purple insert for it. It stops 75% of the whistle noise. It's still a loud BOV outside the car, but not so much at all inside the car. When I get my car back I can take some video of it.

The forge bov sucks nuts. It leaks at partial throttle constantly. Maybe it needs to be regreased every so often, cuz it didn't do it at first. But overall I would have saved the $$ and picked up something else.

Anyone want to purchase a used Forge BOV?

It's not the grease because I have had my Forge for about 15-20K and I've greased with twice with Forge issued greased and it still leaks air.
