BOV problem????

first off i do not know much bout cars, and my friends pretty much installed my parts so please dont bash on me.

anyways today, my jdm fog lights were put in.(looks sexy as hell) my greedy rs BOV was installed 2 days ago with recirculation. the noise i was getting was not very pleasant. it was very weak and the blend with my CPE CAI was ugly.

soooooo, i took it back to my friends house and they took off the recirculation and plugged the...recirculation line, what i THINK it's called, with a battery. ( i do not know if that is safe or not but my friends both covered there holes up with a battery and it has seems to have been fine)

now the main problem is that when im driving there seems to be a lot of excess heat generating near my legs, and that is really freaking me out. does any one know whats wrong?

Wow.... I dont think a battery is safe cause it can explode but they can cap it off with somethin else.. maybe a bolt. But not sure about the heat... How does the BOV sound now???

sounds just fine. i noticed tho, the way i set my air conditioner, is where the heat comes from. like if set my AC directed towards my face, that is where the heat will go. ionno. should i jus take off my BOV?

You probably have the heat coming from the outside.... If its red i believe it means its bringin air in from out of the vehicle... maybe its bringing in hot air. Is it just when the air is off??
