i got a stock msp... brand new t25 turbo, had to replace due to old one crapping out. so anyway i had my mechanic change it because my lack of knowledge in that department lol. the car has been running fine since i had it put in an was boosting 6ibs.an no more, no matter how hard i would slam on the pedal. which was fine thats were it should be right? but today i started the car an took it for a drive an it started slamming 16 to 18 pounds an i was freakin out like there is no way that should be going on... i cant figure it out an just wanted to know if anyone could help...

s*** any possible way of fixing it i mean the turbo is only a couple months old?

um...no just put in a new WGA.. its only about 80 bucks... However you should really test your WGA BEFORE you go buying a new one. Take the vac line going to it and blow into it. If you can blow air into it and its not like trying to blow into a straw with your finger over the end its bad. A good wastegate you shouldnt be able to pass air through it. Also check both ends of your vac line going to the WGA.

I don't think its your wastegate yet. First check to make sure the vacuum hose going to the wastegate is in good shape and still on the wastegate. If thats good than check the wastegate. No need replacing something thats not bad.

if you are stock, look on the right side of the engine right beside it. You should see a three way tee with three lines coming out of it. one line going forward to the BPV. One going back to the intake manifold and the third one going down towards the turbo. The line going towards the turbo is the line for the WGA. Be careful pulling the line off of the tee if you decide to test the actuator, you could break the tee. But you can buy three way tees at autozone for like a buck. Good luck
