Blue tooth help

So for 2 weeks my father has had no problems using his blue tooth in his 09 CX-7. Over the last couple of days, it will work fine up until he hears "use the answer button to answer your call". After he uses the button his bluetooth drops and he has to use his phone and not the bluetooth system. Any one have any ideas why this is happeneing? He hasnt changed anything, or had anything installed on the car. The car has been shut off and restarted many times. The only other thing I can think of is to "pair" the phone again as if it is a new phone to the system. Thanks for any help or suggestions!

Something sounds courrupted. Delete the phone and re-pair is my recommendation.
