iirc... most people blow the cylinder that is farthest away from the fuel flow on the fuel rail... therefore #1. if it blows for some reason other than fuel flow then its just a random crap shoot as to which one will blow...
I blew s*** up in #3 cylinder. My block was nearly completly cut in half by the con rod that snaped. Don't worry guys this was my first motor not the current one I have in right now. The one I have in right now have crapped out pistion rings in #1 and #4 cylinders.... go figure
you guys are talking about first and second times doing this - s*** man, i'd rather not have done it at all $2000 later....at least I wasnt ***** by the dealer to do it for $5000
cylinder 4 and many factors led to it. from a seized oil pump to a leaky head gasket. plus i didnt have an upgraded fuel pump at the time. i was asking fo death I lost rod clearance and the piston cracked
-If there is a cylinder in our engines that tends to be the weakest (a lot of engines have a "weakest" cylinder...ie, one that's more likely to go first). Whether or not the weakest cylinder is weak due to being too lean or not is debateable, but there's certainly a good chance of the weakest cylinder being the leanest.
-If there is a cylinder that is really "safe", etc.
But like KzA said, it looks pretty evenly distibuted thus far.
