Best exhaust

(shrug) Thats how CP-E's instruction sheet said to install it. The nuts have a locking feature on them... I would have thought the said as you, but I'm installing it as speced per the manufaturer...

Its probably deformed threads. You can't reuse the nuts if you need to mess with it again.

It would be hilarious if they speced nylocks though.

The nuts have a jagged finished on the underside. I forget whats that called. Its where they thread in but they bite into the mating surface when unthreaded... (huh)

Nylocks Ha i'm sure. Wonder what they would smell like at full temp! Remember turbos don't have any use for restriction. Run 3" all the way.

I think the posters stating that a CBE is a waste of time are referring to it being the only exhaust mod.
I don't know about it being a waste, but there is definitely money better spent in other places. First being a better downpipe. If you don't want that hassle, then a racepipe. Huge headache to swap but great gains is a turbo manifold. Last and least (at least by itself) is a CBE.
If you do some of these other mods, then yes, it would be silly to not finish the job properly and open the rest of the exhaust too, but not as a first step.

dont forget, CBE will most likely not void your warranty, down pipe, race pipe and turbo manifold could void it. Risky move with all the problems with smoking turbos going around

Good point J , Try to be able to return to stock for that turbo issue, though I'm gonna cut my oem exhaust out to save time. Autox just playin a bit I'm sure your fine thanks for pics peace

what is hp gain with vibrant exhaust its downpipe back right?? any cells or failed emission test? oh and if I will put test pipe can Istill pass emission test??
