does anybody know when you disconnect the battery if the Bose stereo in the 2006 MS6 will need a code entered to get it to work again? i know some of my other cars had this feature as a security thing to keep people from jacking your system. i bought my MS6 used and i cant find any info or a security code for the stereo..... so im guessing that there is no issue with it but id rather be sure. would hate to have a non-working system.

No code is required though your alarm will go off when you reconnect the battery. It gets me every time and I know its coming.

my alarm has never gone off due to reconnecting the battery.

If you re-lock your car before the hood is opened that may be your root cause.
I have had that happen before, but it was while opening the hood.

everything worked out just fine. the alarm did not go off on reconnect, but i didnt have my car locked either. reset the windows with no problem, and the stereo had no issues. MAN I LOVE THIS FORUM!!!
