My P5 has a axle seal leak. Is tht something serious. How can i fix it.

I suspect you're referring to the seal between the axle and the differential. If that's the case you shouldn't drive the car very far until you get it fixed, that seal prevents your transaxle oil from leaking out of the diff.
Fixing it is pretty simple, there's a good howto here: http://tinyurl.com/3727lve
That guy went a bit overboard with all the stuff he removed to get the axle out, all you need to do is remove the steering knuckle from the lower ball joint and the bolts that hold the steering knuckle to the strut. Then you'll have enough room to swing the steering knuckle out and yank the axle. Replacing the seal takes all of 5 minutes (pry out the old and push in the new one with your hand), then you can put the axle back in, fill the tranny with oil and you're done
If the leak is on the passenger side then you can follow the same procedure but once you get the axle out there's another 3 bolts to remove to get the joint shaft out.
Have a look at the service manual, there's a lot of good info in there.

i went to my mechanic, and he was like, its not tht major just a minor leak. U think i shud take it tht lightly. Coz winter is on the way and i dont want my car to get ****** up.

Did he tell you where the leak is from? Is it from the axle seal? If so you should get it fixed, there are no dummy lights for low transaxle fluid so you won't know if you suddenly lose a bunch of it.

no i mean like last winter something happnd to my car, and i had to take the bus for work and i was freezing my ass off. So i dont want any problems this year.
