Metallic noise front-driver side when getting in 2020 CX-5 (36k miles)

I started noticing a clanging noise when I sit in the car for the first time in the morning. But after that I cannot reproduce it, and have to wait till next day.

I took the car to the dealer, and they replaced sway bar bushings, but that did not help. Then they replaced the driver side strut and dampener, but the noise is till there. Please see the attached video, which I took when I sat in the car.

Any ideas what this noise could be or where should I point the camera to get a better video? Thanks

That is definitely a doozy to track down especially it only happens once a day. It sounds metal on metal so I don't think it's bushing related. And since your damper assembly has been replaced, I'm actually stumped.

That noise seems to occur with suspension movement. Sounds like something is loose and I suspect it may have to do with a particular side of the car only. That's hard to nail down if your in the car but if someone were outside the car when you first get in they could distinguish left or right. I think you got taken to the cleaners by the dealer and he was just loading and firing the parts cannon - if what they did didn't fix it, why should you pay for their lack of proper diagnosis? To my ears, the sound is more like a "snap" and I doubt sway bar bushings would produce that sound - perhaps a bushing retaining strap bolt or both but you'd hear it over every bump. Loose drop link bolts might or a damaged socket on one of the links that's lined with teflon. I'd try a private reputable shop have a go at it and go ask for your money back from those other buffoons. I could list many causes but I have no idea if you are a DIY'er and feel comfortable working on your own ride.
