You can get a pretty decent aftermarket stereo with iPod integration for $120-150.

TAPE/MD input functionality

Hi there, is the only option to connect to the TAPE/MD input to buy an AuxMod board?

I have a Mazda 6 Luxury Sports (date of manufacture May 2005). I love the build-in Bose Car Audio System and like to use the TAPE/MD input function and don't know if it is available. How can I check this? Can somebody please give me the electrical drawings how to connect this? I removed the system from my car already and can see 2 plugs on the back of the main unit and the plug at "the bottom" as shown on the http://www.sylfex.com/ site. Thanks for that info!
The identification number engraved in the casing at the back of the main system is FF011068B 7. There is a label attached to the side of the system with numbers GK1A66DSXC02.

Looks like its the end of AUXMOD basic... Site says out of stock and they dont konw IF/when the will have more....
