Are rebuilt axles available for the MSP ?

Oh geez.. I remember when the tranny shop put a regular Protege axle on my car instead of the MSP specific one. Talk about freakin vibration from hell. It was like driving over a railroad track when I was driving. I finally had to go to Mazmart and track down an axle that was from a MSP and it fit fine. You definitely have to make sure you get a MSP one, as I believe there is a difference in the lengths.. not by much but you sure can feel it if you get the wrong one.

that is what happened to my car i broke my driver's side axle....just ordered a regular protege axle....and since then everything has been just like how it was before no problems at all

the easiest way to tell an MSP axle from a regular protege one are the CV joints... they're much larger on the MSP... the actual axle diameters are about the same

Based on my pictures above, which ones do you think I got?

I've noticed a rhythmic vibration when going steady down the highway. At 50-55 mph, it cycles about once per second, and is just enough to make my rear view mirror shake a tiny bit.

Mine does the same thing, but has factory axels in it as far as I am aware...

Are you 100% sure it's not a tire that's causing the vibration?
You can rotate the tires front to back if you have a doubt that it might be a tire or wheel. The weights do fall off, it's a little rare but I have seen it a few times.

I'm positive, as I've had 3 different sets of wheels and tires on, no change.

its not a constant vibration, its a harmonic thing that comes and goes rythmically...

Glad to know I'm not completely crazy. BTW, I've noticed mine is the strongest right around 45 mph. I still wonder if I have a slightly bent wheel or a wheel/tire out of balance, but haven't had time to have that checked yet. I wonder if it was already there but didn't show up until I upgraded that last motor mount. Are your mounts upgraded, by chance, and which exhaust do you run?
