So I've replaced the rear shocks on our 5 and am still trying to eliminate a clunk. The lateral links are clearly worn and Right now I'm checking out parts and came across this MOOG trailing arm bushing with the pin already in.

looks like a good option if it's easier to install? Big question...IF...

The rear trailing arm bushings are a PITA to install, no matter which way you go, sorry to say. You will need a few hours of wrench-time and you MUST HAVE a shop press to drive the old bushings and shells out of the trailing arm, and to drive the new ones in. If you go with poly bushings meant for the Ford Focus/Volvo V50 you will still need the wrench time, and may be able to get them installed without a press, but will have to torch the old rubbers out of the shells instead.

Yeah I get a sense of the PITA from seeing others pics and posts about it. I do have access to a press at work, so if I need to do those, I should be able to, with some planning...
