amp-wise, yea no problem it would be the same as bridging your rear channels and running your fronts directly. Sound-wise, you DO stand to gain something, jsut make sure you've got things crossoedover alright. I'd not worry about actives, and simply us the amplifiers XO's atleast those are adjustable. However, someone here had a good point, out of a box simply playing "freeair" you're not going to get ALOT of bass responce. If there' anyway to sealup some airspace behind them, you'd be much better off, but as with anything. fire 'em up and give it a shot... If you like the results you win!
