All SUCK-NO Bwomp, Bwomp

Hey guys, got my AEM intake installed today. Absolutely 110% NO TURKEY using my Forge BOV-I have not tried the stock BPV yet, but would imagine it will turk.

Back to the point, WTF is up with the no Bwomp sound from the intake, it still sounds stock! I swear it does nothing, just sucks like a jet engine under heavy throttle(no difference at full throttle) Why no bwomp,bwomp or nice intake sounds, because of the turbo?

BTW The intake looks really, really nice, 95% show5%go kinda mod. I am happy to have it installed regardless of how it sounds, makes the engine bay look so much more "finished" and everything looks really clean and well thought out. The red even looks ok in an orange car lol

how do your intakes sound, the same?

Glad you like the AEM intake! I do miss that nice red finish...like candy.

(I think there were one or two more 'bwomps' on the Protege with the stock BPV, but that Xbox game had the similar sound [during the upshifts])

It's becuase of the turbo, samething with my spool cai. Just loud sucking then turkey.
