lol... it will be nice keeping up on the progress.. when is the BIG housewarming Mazda party? :D

i will be moving in around June 15th, but lisa, you know your invited over whenever you want ;)

i was afraid that..which is why i uploaded them as well...i think i will just upload them instead of actually posting the pics..image station doesnt seem to like that.

Couple of suggestions since I just built one.

1) Add a backup sub-pump....it nice and pretty cheap
2) Add a reference point in your pictures when taking pictures of the framing...Or else you will never be able to tell what wall you are looking at.
3) Never assume they know. If you think they missed something, they probably did, so bring it to their attention ASAP.
4) If something of the framing does not look right, say something now, cheaper to move things before drywall goes up:)
5) Make sure they put the light for the garage lights inside the garage. They put mine inside the house which is not bad, but it would have been better if it was inside the garage. I am too lazy to open the door and click on the lights:)
6) Capture any documentation that comes with your products, lights, fans etc. It will just go in the trash if you don't because they don't care.

1) being installed.
2) good call.
3/4) the builder is doing the whole development, and they will give us a prior to closing tour. if anything is wrong, even slightly, they will fix it for free. its in our contract.
5) my dad is the electrician's supplier, so i'll have to bring this up to him
6) good call on this also.

wow those houses are close to each other. well, at least if you need some brown sugar you dont have to leave your house, just reach out the window

yeah yeah. see how long that took me?? thats why i didnt want to go to my car....

coolio and congrat to you man! Mine is ending Escrow on the 21st! and I can't wait to move in...wish I am building it though cuz there are definitely stuff that I want in my house that I don't have right now (at least like a 3 car garage) =p

yeah this is our first home, and we are both pretty young, so we couldnt afford a lot of the stuff we wanted. but we plan on paying this one off in 15 years or less (depending of course ;))

Wow! How much are houses in OHIO now? Here in Cali is crazy! No way i can afford doing 15 years
